Weird day today. To start, George Landis popped an engine in the first round of Pro Street resulting in a lengthy clean-up. Then Jake Carlton's Super Street 10.5 Camaro had problems at the finish line which put him in the wall (a minor hit). And finally, Pro Street racer Vinny Demieri, in a really freaky deal, was injured in his trailer after a fitting broke while filling a nitrous bottle in his trailer, resulting in the smaller high-pressure bottle to propel itself, striking the driver in the back. Demieri was transported to a local hospital, but has since been released. From what we understand he has a broken rib and a lot of bruises.
We're obviously behind... at this time we are getting ready to get into third round in most classes.
