OR VICE VERSA The odds are LSX will run before LM/EFI based upon probable car counts that is.

Is it not true that in the past if a car shows up after qualifying for LM/EFI they get to chose thier index but go to bottom of ladder. i.e. : Jason Phillips 2008 or 2009 at Joliett as Jason showed on Sunday morning after Sat 3 rounds of qualifying, he was placed at bottom of ladder and won the crazy thing I think.

Well first Rob's comment, I don't think so because EFI is a "qualified" field.

That leads to Bobby's comment and I think that if that happened it was a mistake because I have been expressly told that a qualifying pass, even if just breaking the beam and backing out and taking the default 24 second pass (I think that is what they list you at) is required to be in the eliminations.

    Efi

The only way to jump into the class that has a qualified field and claim the index is if there was a canceled session of qualifying. Say we get 2 sessions in and it rains out the third then you can be put on the bottom of the ladder for just going to tech and claiming an index
Similar to the Open Comp wording in the book.
If weather has caused the loss of one or more rounds of qualifying sessions, any entrants not qualified will be required to choose an index from the following list:
15.7, 15.0, 14.0, 13.0, 12.0, 11.0, 10.0, 9.0, and 8.7 Competitor must submit their index to the race director on the last day of qualifying.

This particular ring is a one event only ring. They call it the super bowl. NMCA and NMRA race at the same track and at the end of the day the winner of the NMCA classes race against the winners of the NMRA classes. The "Team" that wins the most "king of the hill" type races....wins a ring for all members of the "team". Last year NMRA won

I am 100% committed to the LSX series, so I will not jump into the LM EFI. I may consider running in the Bracket race.
    Rob,

I don't understand your reasoning, you would travel to Joliett to race bracket and not race LM/EFI when it is structured so close to LSX ? But then I have been told as long as your number 1 you don't have to explain anything so just take it from LSX current number 6 , 7 , 8 or where ever I am lucky to be located at the moment.

I thought the bracket race was running in conjunction with one of our events (LSX Series). I could be wrong, :-)
I am confused also. I guess we will depend on Edgar telling us what to do. He has the EA on.

Rob the confusion is there is a bracket race at every NMCA event. They just so happen to post a pYout for Atlanta cause it is the next race.

First round brackets always comes after every NMCA class has run at least 1 round. That way if you lose first round in an nmca class, and lsx rumble is one of them, you can buy into the bracket race. otherwise, no brackets for you
